Bearing defect frequencies

The VibroAssistant reference finds a ball bearing by designation and calculates characteristic frequencies from its geometry and speed.

How to perform the work

  1. Enter an international or GOST designation, for example 6205.
  2. Select a bearing from the search result.
  3. Enter operating speed and compare the frequencies with the vibration spectrum.
Important. BPFI applies to the inner race, BPFO to the outer race, BSF to rolling elements, and FTF to the cage. The calculation is a diagnostic guide.
